The new system incorporates machine learning and deep learning technology that enhances image quality by removing noise and restoring SNR, automates many scan procedures, and confirms set-up steps to save time and reduce errors.
It utilizes Advanced intelligent Clear-IQ Engine (AiCE) technology, which leverages deep learning reconstruction (DLR) technology to deliver noise-free images, especially when the procedure needs high-resolution images, highly accelerated scan time, and/or both simultaneously. AiCE is applicable to all anatomies and covers 96% of all MR procedures for 2D and 3D acquisition.
In addition, with compressed sensing and parallel imaging accelerated scan technologies, Canon Medical has incorporated new clinical solutions in the Vantage Fortian to address challenges across the entire MRI diagnostic workflow.
Following MDR certification, the first European installation of the Vantage Fortian took place in Spain at the beginning of September. It is already in clinical use. Customers in France, Germany, Poland, and the United Kingdom (UK) will also receive their new systems shortly.
With the release of the new system, Canon Medical now offers a comprehensive range of open bore 1.5T MRI systems to meet every customer need in the growing 1.5T MR market segment.
Other systems in the range, such as the Vantage Orian and Vantage Galan – Canon Medical’s open bore 1.5T & 3T systems – may now benefit of the new solutions featured in the Vantage Fortian.
