Overview: VISIONS MRI Global Edition PIQE Special

To highlight our latest solutions, we are very proud to present this Precise IQ Engine (PIQE) digital edition of VISIONS Magazine.

Canon Medical Systems introduced MR Deep Learning Reconstruction (DLR) technology with Advanced intelligent Clear-IQ Engine (AiCE) in 2020. AiCE can reduce noise levels in the image and has opened a new world in MR examinations.

We have been expanding DLR technology since then, and in 2022, we introduced new DLR technology called PIQE. PIQE can help to resolve the trade-off between spatial resolution and signal-to-noise ratio (SNR). Higher spatial resolution images can be obtained from low resolution images using PIQE technique. This results in both high SNR and high spatial resolution simultaneously in addition to reducing scanning time. I believe PIQE has great potential to bring MR examinations to an even higher level.
